Black Knight Termite and Pest Control does Bee Control and

Hive Removal

Spring is here and so are the bees. Swarms of bees have been seen all over Temecula/ Menifee Valley, on into Oceanside. Where are they all coming from? Well, it’s all a part of nature. Bees play a vital role in pollination. Bees help plants grow, breed, and produce food. With that in mind Black Knight Pest Control always does what is possible in preserving a bee colony by transferring the bee colony including the queen, rather than complete extermination.

The Higher the Structure the More Potential for a Bee Problem

Residential and Commercial Properties can encounter various bee problems, and some may even become dangerous. Any human or animal that is around a bee infestation is at risk of being attacked by a bee(s). There is no telling how one person will react to a bee sting from other, especially if they have never been stung before. Some people can experience intense reactions from a bees sting. A bee situation can escalate rather quickly and is always recommended that a professional be contacted for an evaluation of the colony.

How to Prevent a Bee Problem

Bees will find openings around a structure to build a colony, sealing any cracks will help prevent bees from entering. The highest part of a structure is the most susceptible for a bee problem to evolve. Whether you own a home with a second story, or a condo and are at the highest level you should consider the possibility of bees. Even if you have a condo with a small patio do not neglect to look for openings in the space you do have. If bees find way inside the walls of structure it could lead to MAJOR work, and repairs along with the removal of the hive. Renters that discover a bee issue can contact the property management company for assistance. Black Knight Pest Control works closely with local beekeepers in the area to insure the safe removal of a colony along with the queen when ever it is possible.

Black Knight can service commercial, residential, and property management companies with bee related problems throughout Riverside, Menifee, and San Diego.

Removal Process

Black Knight Pest will follow a three step plan to eliminate honey, carpenter, or killer bees.

First, there will be an inspection in which the area where the bees are entering will be determined, as well as where the hive is located. A Black Knight Professional will then determine if removal of the hive is necessary, or if the bee invasion can be controlled only by elimination. If the bee hive will need to be removed a detailed  estimate will be provided. Supposing treatment is called out Black Knight an insecticide will be injected into the hive to eliminate the colony. Finally, Black Knight will then seal up the access area(s) to prevent further invasions from happening. From start to finish of a Bee Problem Black Knight will insure that the bees are removed, or treated properly, and help to eliminate them from coming back.
