Flea Control for Indoor Environments
With this plan, the Black Knight will clear your home of any fleas. Black Knight’s Flea Control Service is practical and affordable!
Black Knight Termite and Pest Control Inc. will recommend that before any treatment the homeowner vacuum their carpet to help remove some of the adult fleas from the carpet. The vacuum bag should be emptied after use.
Black Knight Termite and Pest Control Inc. will then use a product that will kill the remaining adult fleas and also stop the development of eggs and larvae. This product that contains both Adulticide and Insect Growth Regulator (IGR). We also offer a natural, or non toxic solution.
Black Knight Termite and Pest Control Inc. recommends that the homeowner wash the bedding of your pet.
Black Knight Termite and Pest Control Inc. recommends a flea product for your pet. There are a number of flea control products available for your pet. The once a month topical products seems to work the best. Please check with your vet.
Snail & Slug Control Service
Snails and slugs destroy crops by eating roots, leaves, stems and fruits. They are able to abrade and consume a large variety of plants with their abrasive tongues. Over-the-counter products such as Metaldehyde are frequently used for snail control, though they are known toxic to dogs and cats.

Our working procedure for snail control involves the following four steps:

Before we can start your control, you will need to water your property the night before. This will draw the snails and slugs out.
The next morning, a Black Knight Termite and Pest Control Inc. technician will search your property and actually pick up all the snails and slugs he can find. The technician will then dispose of the snails and slugs.

Bee and Hive Removal
Honeybees serve an important purpose in the environment. However, under certain circumstances, the honeybee can obstruct our daily lives and pose a potential threat to our family and pets. Black Knight believes it is our responsibility to save as many bees as possible while also keeping your family and home safe. Black Knight works directly with a local beekeeper to safely relocated bee hives whenever possible. Whenever we are called out for bees, our first call is to the beekeeper. We do everything we can to help save the bees.
Temecula Valley, Riverside, and San Diego County can experience bee problems on residential and commercial properties.
Bee Defense Service
Black Knight Termite and Pest Control, INC. will first call our local beekeeper to schedule the day and time for the beekeeper to come remove the hive and relocate them. In some cases, relocation isn’t possible. This may be due to the location of the hive, the type of bees, or other factors. When this is the case, Black Knight will come and eliminate the hive.
- Black Knight will then seal up the access area to prevent any future invasions from other colonies with mesh or steel wool.
- If necessary or wanted, Black Knight will provide a quote to remove the hive itself. Usually, the honey dries up on its own, but sometimes the honey can cause damage to the structure and needs to be removed based off of location and size. Removing the hive will also help with the prevention of any future invasions.
- Black Knight also provides treatment options for wasp and yellow jacket infestations.

Spider Control & Deterrent Services
Spiders are air breathing arthropods that have eight legs and fangs that inject venom. That are the largest order of arachnids and ranks seventh in total spices diversity among all other groups of organisms. Spiders can be considered an important, even beneficial, link in the food chain because they prey on other insects.
However, there are two species in our area in the Temecula Valley that are dangerous to humans. The Black Widow and the Brown Widow. The bites from these spiders produce nasty results in humans, such as open, ulcerating sores and severe cramping and pain. While rarely fatal, elderly and young children are at high risk for severe reactions from bites.

Cockroach Control
During a Roach Clean Out preformed by Black Knight Pest Control we first inspect to determine which type of Cockroach we are dealing with. The areas of the home that are infested by Cockroaches also needs to be noted in order to determine how many visits will be needed to treat the infestation. Typically it requires 2 heavy interior treatments. Around all baseboards, kitchen cabinets, cracks and crevices, under large appliances, where roaches like to hide and lay eggs. We provide the customer with a 30 day warranty for call backs to ELIMINATE the last stragglers if there are any. Typically used is an aerosol product that flushes them out of where they are hiding. Baiting is also a technique that works very well for roaches. Black Knight will bait cracks and crevices, even door hinges. Baiting is a good option in treatment for residual purposes.
Keep in mind for Roach Treatments customers are required to leave the home for a minimum of 2 hrs. This gives time for the aerosol treatment to settle and fumes to go away.
TIP in any Pest Defense:
- The number one most effective method to eliminate and prevent a Roach Infestation is to always practice good sanitation habits. This can’t be stressed enough.
